          Promoting Positive Behaviour

During the Pre-School session, the children must be given the chance of appropriate play and learning opportunities, Sensitivity should be demonstrated constantly. The child’s physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs are of paramount importance.   Staff should always try and anticipate potential problems and support children in a positive manner. Staff must not shout at children or use practices that humiliate them. Adults in the setting will always promote positive behaviour.  The children have also created their own ‘Golden Rules!' and this is displayed in the setting and promoted on a daily basis.
